The ANF provides many web–based monitoring tools, split into 4 broad areas; state-of-health, data, metadata, and beta. Many of these tools display graphical respresentations of real–time data.

State of Health

Webdlmon: *NEW* XML-based HTML datalogger monitor, complete with data-type sorting and integration with RRD plots XML source file is updated every 5 minutes.

Dlmon: Screen dump of X-windows datalogger monitor. Various views are available; single or multiple columns views, or an icon view. Image is updated every 150 seconds.

SeisNetWatch: SeisNetWatch allows seismic network operators to monitor and control the state of health of the USArray network.

Real Time Plots: Implementation of RRDtool to dynamically create graphs of various time periods (last hour, last day, last week, last month and last year) for a number of state-of-health channels. Now with an interactive Google Map. Very useful for station diagnostics.

Legacy Plots: Prior to the RRDtool monitoring noted above, a different plotting application was used. Access to this is provided for legacy issues.

PdfMode: Links to IRIS generated PDF Color Power Tracking noise plots.

Intermapper: Network monitoring application that watches specified hosts and services, sending alerts when traffic is interupted or stopped and when normal data–flows are resumed. Some of the many features of Intermapper® include: monitoring of network services (SMTP, POP3, HTTP, NNTP, PING, etc.), monitoring of host resources (processor load, disk usage, etc.), parallelized service checks, the ability to define network host hierarchy using "parent" hosts, allowing detection of and distinction between hosts that are down and those that are unreachable, and many more.

Data

DOWNLOAD EVENTS: Download individual month CSS3.0-formatted event tables from USArray instruments. ANF-staff reviewed and non-reviewed are available.

Orbmonrtd: Screen dumps of multiple orbmonrtd instances. Orbmonrtd is an Antelope waveform plotting application that continuously looks for new data packets on one or more input Orbs and makes an animated trace plot of the data in an X-window. Views are updated every 300 seconds.

Baler Status: View a dynamically built table of Baler data on each TA station. The table shows station code, start time, end time and the percentage of data for that time period stored on the Baler.

Metadata

Dataless SEED explorer: Download dataless SEED volumes for USArray stations from 2004 to the present.

Instrument Response Functions: Dynamic plotting of instrument response functions allows users of the data to assess the frequency response of each channel of the instruments used in the USArray deployment. To use the tool you must first access the Stations page of this website and click an individual station. The resulting page provides a list of tabs with different information. Select the "State-of-health metrics" tab and scroll to the Instrument Response Functions section.

WebDBE: Webdbe allows users to explore the real–time USArray database tables, subsetting the data using a simple expression calculator.
