On Monday February 25 2008 at 10:06 AM (PST) the USArray seismic network recorded an earthquake (preliminary Mw 6.7) located in the Kepulauan Mentawai region of Indonesia.
Initial source parameters for this tremor are indicated below. The epicentral distance (i.e. distance separating the epicenter and the closest station in the recording network, A05A) for the USArray is 13499 km (121.32 degrees).
